Jujutsu kaisen Ending, fans relieved after finally seeing Megumi smile

While the journey has been both a tumultuous and fun one, it all finally comes to an end with the completion of Jujutsu Kaisen. The Jujutsu Kaisen ending turned out to be a triumphant sigh of relief for much of the fanbase, especially as it was at this moment that we collectively got something else: A smile from Megumi Fushiguro after years and arduous battles.

At this point in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, fans have seen so many fights and twists that it is hard to keep track. It followed Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and their friends at the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College as they were challenged with battling curses. The ending of the manga tied up all its storylines nicely, probably to fans relief and satisfaction.

The war scenarios in the last. The champions battled incredibly and survived epic trials. The story soon came to a climax, with all the intensity and high stakes that have defined this series as top-tier action/drama.

A Conflict – Jujutsu Kaisen Ending Chapter 268

The chapter starts with Sukuna, Megumi. Sukuna makes fun of him and asks where his resolve has gone after he went through all this pain. He talks with Megumi’s sister having died, his breaking point hit and her refusing to seek aid. Sukuna makes his intentions known — he tells Megumi to just quit, and that Sukuna will handle the rest from here.

Although Sukuna is trying to get on his head, Megumi wont budge. He takes shots at Sukuna by mentioning the last of his original fingers. At that point, Megumi notices this fact too: Sukuna with just one finger left again is in danger of dying. The shadow cursed spirit offers them a way to kill this creature however if Yuji Itadori can forcibly remove Sukuna from Megumi, the curse will cease. Through Megumi, we learn that the terror of death is both very real and extremely potent…but also offers us a glimpse into Sukuna’s exposed flank. And it makes Megumi feel a sense of relief and urge to take action. He states that he never wanted to live a long and fulfilling life, but now he will fight for others.

At this point the narrative goes back to truth of on terrain competition. The world of Yuji crumbles and the Sukuna in his body begins to fade. It was the final burst of screams from Sukuna, who now being forcefully separated with Megumi indicates that control over boy in controlled and he is released from its curse. This climactic moment works to change the tide of battle.

With Sukuna remnants sprawled on the ground, Yuji faces off with curse and asks an important question about what comes next. He also thinks about their past together and how he was going to give Sukuna a deal where Megumi would let him go in order for letting Yuji be, sourceMapping because of that end fate. The gravity of Yuji speaking those words features them saying, “Sukuna…you are me.” He knows he and Sukuna were both born from a cursed fate. Yet with his grandfather’s sage wisdom to guide and steady him, Yuji got back up.

Yuji offers a glimmer of hope for coexistence, arguing that if the rest of the world wishes to reject Sukuna out into open (and mostly unchanged) creation then he himself possibly can keep existing as an abberation. This is ultimately an offer of empathy that, contrasting sharply against the rage boiling within Sukuna. Sukuna responds by issuing a threat to Yuji, reminding him that he is ultimately still nothing but a curse. The exchange exposes this fundamental contrast in their beings, their perceptions of each other.

Jujutsu Kaisen Ending

THE chapter closes with a VERY important (but not visual) move in the fight between Uraume and Hakari. Uraume accepts that their plan did not win which Uraume tells Hakari, the latter asks there actions in next to be taken place and expects for more chance where then suddenly, emptiness arrives. And with Sukuna waylaid, this statement highlights the enormous ripple effect that has on these concurrent fights and Kazu’s struggles going forward in general.

This means Jujutsu Kaisen 268 is a major chapter that brings resolution to much of the conflict while also diving deeper into its own core themes, identity, coexistence and living under a curse. Sukuna and Megumi are still dealing with their psychological tension while Yuji offers himself introspectively, adding additional layers to the story as this outstanding series.
